Help with leadership skills? at TK China Travel

I?m going to grade 9 in a year and i?m planning for applyign for a McGill scholarship. It sais that major scholarships are awarded to students with outstanding academic achievement (that is my strength) and leadership in school or community activities ? and extracurriculars is not enough. I was wondering, what should I do to get leadership skills and community activities and what does that mean? i really want this so im planning WAYYYYYYYYYY ahead. and don?t say "ur not old enough bla bla bla!"
